Each season, I like to go through my closet, and get rid of a few pieces that I don’t wear anymore (you can shop my closet on Stay Clothes). But I also like to analyse what I have and what I like to wear and add a couple of new pieces that I might be missing in my closet. This season, I really wanted a new trench coat and I finally found my dream one at Mango. I knew that I wanted it to be flowy but also be a classic beige color to go with a ton of different outfits. When I came across this one, I knew it was the perfect one. It’s slightly oversized, has a great belt & even has a small zip down the front. It’s also the perfect piece of outerwear to pack since it weighs next to nothing! Last Sunday, I wore it to walk around Paris and, although it was sunny & rather warm, I was happy to have it on my shoulders! I paired it with a pair of black skinny jeans & added my beloved Michael loafers from Repetto to add a French touch to my outfit.
These photos are far from being the best ones I ever shared on the blog, but I really wanted to post them since I loved this outfit so much. My camera was on the wrong setting and I only realised it afterwards… Sorry about that! I am currently trying to learn a bit more about photography to improve the photos on the blog so if you have any tips or great ressources, send them my way!
I’m thinking about getting this coat as well! is the color pink-ish? it looks very pale beige online but in your picture they have a pink tint?
It’s a very light beige with no pink undertone, I guess it’s just the photo editing that did that! I honestly love it & wear it all the time!
