As I was going through my entire wardrobe recently to purge some items that I’ve barely worn, I’ve realised that I don’t really own a casual black dress that I love anymore. Sure, I have a couple of nice ones to wear to dinner parties and family get-togethers but I wanted something a bit more simple to wear on a daily basis. I finally found the perfect one at Mango and I couldn’t be happier about it. It has long sleeves, which makes it perfect to wear during the colder months but it also as a slightly oversized cut on the bottom which I love. I only got my hands on it yesterday but I couldn’t resist to change into it almost immediately. It’s funny how 4 years ago all I wore were dresses and skirts and nowadays I only wear jeans. I am not really sure of how that change occurred but I am more than ready to go back to my basics! While I can see myself wearing this dress in a dozen other ways (with a leather jackets and booties! With a big chunky knit on top!), I went too a very simple combination of black heeled boots from Fendi and my Furla mini metropolis bag in this beautiful khaki shade.
Today is my best friends birthday! We’re celebrating by going to our first ballet class together, having lunch, mani-pedi and a gorgeous bridal event at Pronovias tonight, talk about a dream day! Make sure to follow along on instagram and facebook!
