It feels so good to be back at it, and by it, I mean life. As most of you now, I spent the last two weeks in bed, recovering from my surgery (whole story & update coming up soon!) but on Monday, I came back to real life. I went back to work and headed out the door for the first time in ages. It feels so good to finally work and do some things again! While I love a cosy weekend in bed, I was getting a bit tired of feeling weak and not being able to do anything. I went to my last doctor’s appointment yesterday and I finally feel like myself again. Except that I feel happier than ever. The last 3 months or so have been a ride through hell for me and now that the pain is gone, I seem to appreciate everything a lot more. But I also wanted to thank you all for your support, your kind words and your overall awesomeness!
Back to the outfit now, this is actually an outfit that we shot earlier in January. I truly adore this coat from She inside and it goes with almost any outfit in my wardrobe. For this look, I mixed it with navy blue basics to really make it pop and I added my Valentino ‘rock stud’ to add a chic touch to the outfit.
